Movie and a Meal
Next Movie and a Meal night is Saturday 8 November at 5:30 pm. Everyone is welcome!

General Information:
4 times a year we are privileged to hold “movie and a meal nights” for the community. These evenings are open to all and offer a free meal complete with dessert followed by a free family suitable movie on the big screen. We have already completed several of these with numbers attending growing each time and we are now feeding about 400 people each night. This is a chance for local families to spend some time together without the expense of a big night out. The atmosphere is relaxed and family based. Dinner is served from 5.30 and each time there is a choice of food including vegetarian and gluten free options. Dessert and coffee is served at about 6 with popcorn and drinks for the movie ready at 6.20 (ish)
We try to pick a new release movie that has something for both the kids and the parents, although preschoolers may not watch the whole movie. The “movie room” is a quiet space so everyone can enjoy the movie, but younger children are welcome to play in the children’s rooms (we have some supervisors on hand to ensure everyone’s safety) if they get bored or lose concentration.
As you can imagine, lots of volunteers are required to help on the night so if you would like to come along to the next night either with your family or as a volunteer (or both!) then please do get in contact.
